Toolshed is a community project driven by and consumed by programmers/developers working with WPF and Silverlight. It aims to provide a completely free repository of WPF and Silverlight controls for use in your own projects.
So, calling all developers: upload your controls here!
There as some great programmers out there writing truly groundbreaking and amazing Silverlight and WPF code. What if they worked together to package up and productize their Silverlight and WPF controls and libraries and released them to the community?
That's the idea behind the Toolshed.
The goal here is to release commercial quality components, written by professional programmers, for reuse/modification/etc with your own projects. We can give something tangible and valuable back to the coding community while at the same time enhancing our own skills and, as a bonus, we may help in a small way to accelerate the pickup of Silverlight and WPF by other programmers.
All done in a friendly and relaxed environment on Codeplex with likeminded and similarly skilled peers. Let's go to work.
